Next Pay Per View (PPV) in the WWE schedule is Royal Rumble The event is scheduled to take place Sunday, January 31, 2021, at ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in Saint Petersburg, Florida, the company’s annual parade at the start of the year featuring its most popular gimmick matches. The next first competitor will be crowned either the Raw (World) Championship or the SmackDown (World) Men’s Championship, and either the Raw or SmackDown Women’s Championship.
We’re still a few weeks away from the show’s date, and here’s what has been decided so far:
- Royal Rumble Men’s Match
Here’s who’s officially in the match as of now: Daniel Brian, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, A.J. Styles, Otis
- Royal Rumble women’s match
Here are the official players in the match so far: Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Piller, Bailey
- Roman Reigns (c) vs Adam Pierce (World Championship)
Reigns triggered Pearce as he thought hard about his last reservation, then arranged his place in the Gauntlet match to determine the next highest contender, then made sure he won that match. This is how we got to Adam Pierce challenging a major WWE title in Our Lord 2021.
WWE hasn’t made it official yet, but Goldberg’s Drew McIntyre’s challenge to the WWE Championship is apparently planned, as it was shown on TV last week.
Apollo Crews could be in line for another shot at the Big E and the Intercontinental Championship, while The Street Profits could be in line for a second match against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode for the SmackDown titles. Not much inconvenience yet.
